Central California Traction Company
unknown. Sacramento, California. CCT 202 is shown at the joint terminal with the Sacramento Northern in Sacramento. This car was one of the earliest passenger motors on
the CCT, having been built by American Car and Foundry in 1906. From 1912 until 1932, passengers could catch a CCT train in Sacramento and connect with the Tidewater Southern at the Stockton Hotel for a ride all the way to Modesto.
In fact, before the Tidewater dropped service in 1932, it was possible to reach Modesto via interurban car from as far away as Chico and Oakland. The CCT ended its passenger service roughly 1 year after the Tidewater did.
