Perhaps one of the rarest items of TS paperwork, this fascinating booklet was issue by the Tidewater and Southern (billing itself as the TW&S) in 1910, encouraging investment in the newly building railroad.  Filled with facts and figures about the financial success of existing interurban railroads and numerous references to the TW&S being a "People's Railroad", not controlled by syndicates or big financial interests, this extremely well-made and high quality sales book was probably something specially distributed by the company.  Here on the cover, we see a map of the proposed system.  Note that there are several differences between it and the final form of the TS' lines.
