Timetable 11 was issued in October 1956, right in the midst of major changes for the railroad.  Modern freight cars were being delivered, a major rebuilding was in effect and both steam and the Hilmar line beyond Chemurgic has just been retired.  The last vestiges of its life as a former interurban and sleepy shortline were ending.  Soon, bigger power and major shippers would see the TS become an invaluable asset to its parent road.
