1967 Joint Timetable
Tidewater Southern Railway

The bulk of
SN-TS Timetable 1 was devoted to the longer Sacramento Northern. The TS lines are covered on just pages 6-7. This station list was basically unchanged from the abandonment of most of the Hilmar line in the mid-late 1940's and the
renaming of the remaining section as the Chemurgic Branch. The next abandonments would be the complete Manteca Branch in the mid-late 1980's and the section from McHenry to Modesto in 2001. The rest remains in service today. One
ommission is the stub of the line beyond Ortega. While this had been the passenger line into Stockton until 1932, a segment remained for freight customers until sometime in the late 1980's.

Beginning in 1967, the SN and TS began issueing joint timetables and special instructions. This mirrored the long-time integration of many functions of the two WP subsidiaries, including the sharing of officers and joint use of MOW equipment. The SN-TS timetables would be short lived, however. By the early 1970's, WP would integrate SN and TS information into their system timetables.
