Tidewater Southern Railway

1911 T&S Investment Letter

As the Tidewater and Southern was being built, management was convincing small investor to buy stock in the new company.  This personal letter to Mr. E. G. Allen provides some interesting information on how the T&S was positioning and marketing itself.  Note that the railroad's offices were in San Francisco, not Modesto or Stockton.
