Tidewater Southern Railway
Gallery.. 1930-1939

Coming soon.
1930's. Turlock or Manteca (location uncertain).
For such a short railroad, the Tidewater had a number of depots and freight houses, evidence of its emphasis on freight traffic.

1939. Modesto, California.
Midtrain helper, Tidewater style. TS 100 leads heading south into central Modesto. TS 4-6-0 1 sits two cars back, having been replaced as lead engine at Aurora, just about a mile away. Little 100 will take the train through downtown and then cut off at the Tidewater's small terminal in the south part of the city.
