Traffic booms in Turlock.  GP20 2009 becomes the "honorary" last Tidewater locomotive.  Modesto gets serious about getting the trains off Ninth Street.  The Manteca Branch reaches its end.  The Union Pacific begins rewriting the rules of TS power and the company finally fades away.
