501 series XM Boxcars

These 25 boxcars wore the colorful "Cornucopia" logo, with the slogan "Serving California's Heartland". These were the only cars on the WP-SN-TS system known to have worn a unique logo for a
subsidiary. The cars featured a Box Car Red body with "Visibility Yellow" lettering, typical for WP family cars at the time. In 1958, WP and TS management decided that the Cornucopia decal was too complicated and expensive to maintain
and decreed that they would not be renewed when cars were repainted. Luckily, few if any ever say a paint booth again and the logos survived for quite a while.
