1965 Freight Schedule Map

From a WP timetable, this map gives a good overview of the entire system in the 1960's.  One can easily see how most of WP's web of branches in California was actually formed by its subsidiaries, especially the sprawling Sacramento Northern.  By the 1980's, almost all of the SN lines will be gone of embargoed, but the Tidewater's map will be nearly unchanged.
