Waiting the call to duty in WP's Stockton Yard, caboose 306 looks to have many more years of service ahead of it.  While the 307 and 308 were well documented into the 1970's, 306 seems to have disappeared at an unknown date.  It may have become part of a resturant in Santa Cruz, California and been destroyed in the fire that consumed the resturant building, itself the former Southern Pacific Santa Cruz depot.
