car, its sign is visible over the roof just ahead of the trolley pole). This depot was located across Ninth Street from the Southern Pacific depot, directly behind the Strand Theater. From the position of the pole, it appears that
the car is about to depart north once again. Passenger service will end in less than 6 years.
