The Tidewater's first diesel locomotive survives!  In this photo, taken in late 1999, the 735 remarkably still wears its Zephyr colors, nearly 50 years after they were first applied.  Remains of the orange and black canvas awnings applied by its second owner, Pickering Lumber, were also found on the engine.
