November 1976.  Modesto, California.

Following its retirement, the 735 was sold, in April 1967, to Pickering Lumber in Standard, California.  Here, it sits waiting for an uncertain future in late 1976, having left Pickering for storage on the MET.  The 735 would end up surviving and travelling widely in the years to come.  The Zephyr paint would even remain, tarnished only by the wear of years.  The black and orange awnings were reportedly applied by the lumber mill.
