Zephyr painted 741 has stepped off-line to aid sister road Sacramento Northern.  The TS and SN often traded locomotives, a practice dating back to early electric days.  While SN's 70 tonners do not appear to have made it to Modesto, the TS' engines occaisionally pitched in for the bigger road.  Here, the 741 is parked alongside the Richfield oil facility.  This section of the SN still sported wire in 1957.
