May 12, 1974. Modesto, California. Accompanied by one of the Western Pacific's brown and yellow steel cabooses, TS 746 rests between assignments near the freight house in
Modesto. This shot nicely highlights the MU connections on the end platform. Although the RS1s had the proper connections, no photo has come to my attention showing them operating in multiple.
