November 22, 1972. Stockton, California. This exceptional Mel Lawrence view gives us the chance to
examine the details of the 746's cab. The roof mounted spotlight is turned around, giving a rarely seen view of the backside. The windows above the nose are painted over or replaced with steel plate. One interesting detail
can be seen around the cabside windows: the remnants of UP yellow and grey paint. Seems that the paint masking job preserved a little of the old UP image.
