December 23, 1977. near Galt, California. Former TS 746 is still fairly new to its Central California Traction Company
identity, having moved to the road in 1976. Here, Tony Johnson caught the classic Alco roadswitcher working near Galt. As CCT 80, the engine seems to have spent most of its time on the north end of the railroad, working out of
Sacramento. Today, this section of the railroad is embargoed and its future is uncertain. CCT 80 is currently rusting in Willits, California, still painted red.

TS 746 on the Central California Traction Company
1978. Haggin, California. In these two photos, 746 works the interchange at Haggin, in the northern area of Sacramento. The Southern Pacific railroad
crosses the Western Pacific mainline (and, until it was removed, the Sacramento Northern mainline) on a flyover. Haggin was a long-time interchange point between the WP, SN and SP. With the removal of the Traction Company's line
into downtown Sacramento in 1966, the railroad began running via trackage rights on the Southern Pacific into Haggin, moving all of its Sacramento interchange work there.
