1972.  Stockton, California

The ex-Spokane International RS1 waits or an assignment at the WP's Stockton locomotive facilities.  At this time, the TS roster consisted of S2 745 and twin RS1s 746 and 747.  The 747 would survive until scrapping in 1975.

Note the 3 chime horn on 747's cab.  Sister 746 received a WP standard M5 horn early in its TS career, but 747 seems to have retained its old UP horn until scrapping.
