TS first 744 is mere months away from its last runs on the Tidewater Southern in this view at the Tuolumne River Trestle.  The former Missouri Pacific unit is heading south toward Hatch and Escalon.  On July 7, the 744 was swapped for WP 554 and eventually ended its days working for Relco and GATX in southern California.
