
May 1941. Modesto, CA Enlarged from the corner of another photo, TS' lowly "line car" is captured at the Modesto Terminal. It appears to be simply
a wooden scaffolding mounted onto a speeder car trailer, probably raised by hand. It is unknown if TS ever had a more elaborate line car, but after the 1932 de-electrification of most of the mainline, this little tower car was probably more
than adequate.
