probably mid 1940's. Aurora, California. Based on 132's clean appearance, she was likely shopped recently. This is one of the best roster shots I have found of this very nice little engine.
Looking very clean and polished, 132 is waiting in the siding at Aurora. The overhead
wire ends off photo to the left. The 132 has swapped her train to the electric locomotives for the trip into Modesto. Of note here is the overhead itself: the siding has single trolley wire, while the mainline still sports the
stayed cantenary needed to support high speed interurban operation.
