May 9, 1953. Stockton, California. Wearing the Zephyr colors introduced just 4 years before, TS 735 waits on the Stockton Roundhouse whiskers alonside an assortment of WP power.
Reportedly, TS 735 was the first switcher to be repainted into the silver and orange colors. The steam engine behind here is on borrowed time, if not out of service, while the FT peeking out of the house will soon lose her beautiful
green and yellow paint in exchange for the new orange and silver. The 735 still has many years of service ahead.
