STORIES from the ROAD
The Tidewater Southern was the site of many interesting and sometimes saddening events. Among the more entertaining were many excursions, practical jokes and other incidents that were recorded by fans or repeated endlessly around among the crews. Some were less uplifting, including accidents and the fast moving fire that toppled the classic Toulumne River trestle.
This section is dedicated to sharing these stories and remembrances.
