March, 1976.  Stockton, California.

Early in her last year on the Tidewater, RS1 746 rests at the WP's Stockton engine facility, appearently in the deadline!  She will spend periods of 1976 on lease to the Central California Traction Company before being sold and moving over permanently in December.  The F-unit behind the 746 appears to be WP 915-D, which was the second to the last WP F7 to be retired and scrapped.  At this point, its likely already being stripped for parts.  Why the 746 would be in the deadline is unknown.  She had recently been on lease to the CCT and would be photographed on both the TS and CCT in the coming months.
