with similar steeplecabs from SN's 650-654 class, the 670 worked the lines south of Sacramento, including switching the car ferry "Ramon", shown here in an undated photo. The 670 was the only motor to never receive the SN standard orange
stripes on its hood ends, earning it the nickname "Blackwidow" from the crews.
