
1990. Portola, California. TS 520, now preserved at the Portola Railroad Museum, shows off its painted Cornucopia herald. The original heralds were actually decals and were
expected to have a 3 to 5 year life. Costing $80 per car, the WP decided not to replace or renew them in spring 1958, less than three years after the cars were delivered.
