date unknown (probably late 1940's).  Stockton, California.

The headlight and footboards on second 1 dates this photo to sometime in the mid to late 1940's.  Caught resting next to the Stockton Roundhouse, the 4-6-0 awaits another call to head south.  The footboard pilot is clearly visible here.  Built as a passenger locomotive, the engine survived a collision on June 2, 1892 while working for original owner Rio Grande Western.  She would outlast her RGW sisters in service by almost 20 years.
