date unknown (probably 1939-41).  Stockton, California.

All steamed up and ready to go, 4-6-0 TS 1 gets ready to roll at the Stockton service tracks.  Very visible here is the wider "cowcatcher" and small steps that were later replaced by a small pilot and wide footboards.  This change appears to have been made around 1941-42, after the more modern headlight replaced the old "oil lamp" style was applied sometime around 1938.
